S-Core

An arcade game where you have to destroy spherical cores while avoiding the obstacles that results of your damages.

Project duration: 6 months

In this project, I wanted to push the arcade feeling with two simple mecanics: shooting and moving.

The tension comes from the need of moving in order to be aligned with the obstacles, but which is also a risk because of the obstacles to avoid.

There are two kinds of bonus that heals the player or makes him fire faster for a short amount of time.

This project allowed me to learn different systems along the development, such as:

- Pooling system
- Music and in-game actions sync between Unity and FMOD
(cancelled as not matching with this gameplay)
- URP Pipeline & Post Processing

As the Project owner, I did the entirety of the development.
